Educational Reimbursement Program


The Fairfield Police Department recognizes the

advantages of higher education and in an effort to

invest in the our employees and the future of the

department, we currently offer tuition

reimbursement for eligible employees.

Upon completion of probation, the City will provide a tuition and book reimbursement program to eligible employees for educational activities that are job-related and approved in advance by the Department Head in accordance with City guidelines.

Annual maximum is $4,000.

Reimbursement subject to prior approval by the City’s Administrative Services Department Employee Relations Division.
